I don't see how it matters where the animal came from so long as it provides nourishment to me

Have you ever thought about what they do to "normal" cows and other live stock to make them produce better meat and milk. I am against cloning, but it will only be a replica of what we eat now. I say organic is the way to go, but I think that it is a bit more expensive yet I can not understand why. The price of meat today is slightly insane, especially when you think about all of the hormones, anti-biotic and numerous other drugs that these poor animals are injected with.

Well, a clone is nothing more but a genetic twin of an animal. So if a cow gave birth to twins, would you feel that they would not be edible? Plus do you know how much meat is actually cloned? Well lets just say your chances of ever consuming any are very slim. Not only that, but in reality cloning is not a very cost effective method unless it is used to breed better livestock for later breeding purposes.

Its just like everything else. It all seems ok now, but in a few years the FDA will say, "oops!" and tell us that eating cloned animal meat causes cancer or something!

I just don't have a good feeling about all of this cloning business. Why not just reproduce the old fashioned way??

Ewww, yeah I saw this on the world news last night. It umm frightens me a bit. Just seems odd and I think we have the right to know.

Plus doesn't it take more time to clone the "meal" than it does to just let the cattle mate naturally and reproduce? Animals have been reproducing all of these years without human interference, I don't think we should start helping them out now lol.

I would rather drink the milk from a "perfect" cow than drink the milk from an assortment of animals that are "improved" individually with chemical enhancement.

I think it is very frightening. Like with GMO's, (and so many other things!) science has gone mad and we will all suffer.

You would never know if you are eating it anyway.
