Hey, if he's one of those husbands thats going to make it hard for you to get out of the marriage, then this is what you do :

1. Plan out how you are going to leave him but don't write it done anywhere. Type it and Save it on a USB stick or floppy disk -- it can be just like an electronic journal in a way too.

2. Secretly, seek legal help from a lawyer

3. Start taking stuff out of the house piece by piece -- this way your husband won't really miss anything because you're not taking everything at once.

Other then that ....
Just do a quick no fault divorce and then you will be free from his crazy ways. By the sound of your question, I can only imagine what you are going through.

Good luck ....

Cruel and abusive, or just saying nasty stuff and insults? Either way somethings changed in the relationship and it would seem he is unhappy either with you or something big that he is taking it out on you.

You should try talking to him calmly, and pointing out some specific examples of what he does to make you feel bad. Maybe he will understand because he just doesn't realize what he is doing now, or maybe counseling will help get to the root cause.

Good luck and handle this delicately you don't want to be harsh and accusing.

ask yourself does this person really love me, and do the cruel moments outweigh the happy moments. you don't have to accept just anything, not even from your husband. love, honor and respect...not be cruel

Give him a dose of his own medicine and treat him the same way. Just long enough for him to know what it feels like. Give him a chance to straighten up and fly right. If it doesn't work, THEN leave his happy a*s*s!

Kick his but out of my house. It is wrong to be cruel to someone especially if you are supposed to love that person. So if he is being mean to you he must not love and respect you.So I personally would get rid of him.If he isn't helping you he's hurting you.So get him gone.

If this is a sudden occurrence, call him on it and find out why. If it's been going on for a while and talking or counseling hasn't helped, don't tolerate it. You deserve better.

Talk to him about it. Let him know that it's not acceptable and you're willing to go to couples counseling if he will...but otherwise he's jeapordizing his marriage.

Don't tolerate it...but do communicate with him...perhaps he's not realizing his change in behavior or what the trigger is...
