I am a Suns fan and most of my friends dont like the Suns. I think they dont like them because they beat both LA teams.

As a DIE-HARD Laker Fan, I will answer honestly:
Why do I HATE THE PHOENIX SUNS? Because I'm jealous of them!
Not many teams can go out and put up 120 with ease and run you out of your own building.
Not many teams can put together a 15 game winning streak. So no matter how well my Lakers are doing at 19-10, they just can't keep up atop the Pacific.
No one has been as good at distributing the ball as Steve Nash since Magic Johnson. Those memories are sacred to me and I hate seeing them reborn in another city.
No team team should ever be allowed to shoot as well as they do from beyond the arc. That is just inhuman (and inhumane to their opponents).
So, for all those reasons, I do respect the them........
.......but dammit I really HATE THE PHOENIX SUNS!!!

I don't hate the Suns. I am a die-hard Purple and Gold Man, Lakers Fan. I am a student of basketball. The Suns are the most entertaining team in the NBA right now. Let's face it they're a fun team to watch. But, the Phoenix Suns do need to learn one thing. Fast Break basketball doesn't win titles like it once did. If your beloved Suns played just a little more defense they would run away with a title. They've been the Indianapolis Colts of the NBA. They have a great regular season record then they lose in the playoffs. The Suns are the favorite to win the Western Conference crown this year. So much luck to you. It would be nice to see Nash, Amare and the Matrix get a ring. You need to do it soon because your team isn't getting any younger. Even though I am a Lakers fan I don't hate the Suns. It's their time to shine. My Lakers are doing just fine. Give us some time and we'll be back in the hunt.

Jealousy.
Most people are envious of sucess. The Suns play a exciting, fast paced game, and are sucessful doing it.
I personally am a Nuggets fan (yea rough last 15 years) and admire the Suns style. Look out for us in the West Finals ;)

I feel ya........The Suns are exciting and they have the 2nd best record. I think they're just hating. I mean, what's not to like? Oh, I forgot , they have Steve Nash. People, please stop hating the poor guy for winning MVP twice. Lots of people say he didn't deserve it, but he won it, didn't he? I've also found that most everyone who hates them is an LA fan.......In both cases, they're haters.

Why would anyone hate a team that fails during the postseason. If anything, most people feel sorry for them and root them on.
The question should be why does everyone hate the Spurs.

I have no clue!! The Suns are my second favorite team....they got a good ball team-
But maybe they are hatin because the Suns beat everyone they like?? I have no clue though-In my eyes there is no reason to hate them....THEY ROCK!!

I hate them because they beat the Lakers, but I don't hate them in a bad way.
I think the Suns basketball is really fast pased and a lot of fun to watch.
I respect them and their talents.
But I just hate them a little because my favorite team is Lakers.
I think people hate them because they are a good team, that's all.
