You could have a bacterial infection not a yeast infection - the symptoms are similar but bacterial infections don't usually itch. Or your Ph could simply be off - you should definately see a doctor to rule out a STD.

Yeast infections in women always itch. The reason they itch and especially at night or when you are laying down or sleeping is that this is when the organisms moves around and grow. That is what causes the itching and irritation.

Yeast infections can be one of the worst life experiences....I've never had one that didn't itch - either way, its still pretty gross.
