is itunes only for ipods?

if you wanted to buy songs, videos, etc., could you do it if you had an mp3 but not a ipod?

You can also use iTunes for mobile devices like Motorola's ROKR and the newer RAZR phones.

You can convert the tracks to MP3 format with the Advanced>Convert option and load them into your other player or phone or you can burn CDs. ... Don't know about the videos though.
