its not the cookies that make your pc slow its the temporary internet files. cookies store information from websites you frequent to make them load faster when you revisit them. the temporary internet files keep copies of all the pages your visited. i dont know what kind of laptop you own but in windows you go to the control panel, click on internet options and then click on delete files (you can delete the cookies if you want to they will restore themselves when you go to a webpage, but itll take longer to load) you can also set it so that you use a minumum amount of space to store the internet files. also if you have alot of files (large programs) that you dont use i would suggest getting rid of them or using the disk defragmenter. i hope this helps!

Yes. Mine is slow all the time from cookies. I'm constantly deleting cookies from my laptop. Go to Tools and click Internet Options and Delete Cookies. You might also want to Delete Files next to Delete Cookies. That tends to slow the laptop also. Then restart your laptop. It's a pain, but it functions better.

Cookie can make the webpage open faster, but if you don't have enough space in your computer, the space cookie take can slow down your other software applications. The solution is too goo to contral panel, go to add and remove, and remove programs you don't need or use any more. Also you need to clear your desktop often and delete temp files which you don;t use any more. there is windows temp file and internet temp file.

No. You would have to have had millions of cookies to really affect your computer.
You can clean up the other downloaded files though, that would help.
From IE, click on tools, then internet options, click "Delete Files" to delete the temp files, and "Delete Cookies" for cookies, and "Clear History" for cleanup of the history file.

including extra suitable RAM does little, if something, to augment internet-surfing speeds. Your connection time is barely as quickly as your connection speed (i.e., once you're on a 56K modem, it is going to take longer to get admission to the internet, no count how plenty memory you have put in). it relatively is beneficial to run an anti-secret agent ware software to test your computing device for malware that oftentimes impedes gadget speed and overall performance. in spite of the undeniable fact that, it would additionally be obtainable that the server became gradual/down on the time you have been attempting to get admission to the internet website. Is it continually gradual having access to any internet site? Clearing your internet cache/history can help to a definite quantity.

only if they are taking up space that you need for virtual memory.
Cookies are very small identifiers that web sites put in your hard drive to recognize you when you return.
