A young by fox can be called a kit, a cub, or a pup.
Like many other animals, there are other names for different ages and genders of the fox. Here are some samples.
A Female... vixen, b1tch, she-fox
A Male.... fox, dog-fox, stag, reynard
Their Young... kit, cub, pup
If you get a group of foxes together, they're called a skulk.

I am British and had never heard the term 'fox kit' until tonight. Having just googled it, it looks like 'kit' is the American term. It is most certainly 'cub' in Britain. Once again - two nations divided by a common language!
