The pulse rate increases but not in the manner of a mechanical pump. The heart is a nonlinear dynamical system. It's highly
responsive as it has to be to meet demand at very short notice
without ever spluttering as an automobile would. It works by
the chaos theory so as to achieve smooth responses 100 percent
of the time. The pulse rate of a fit person returns to normal more
rapidly after exercise than that of a person who is perhaps less fit.

Execise increases oygen demand in the body.Heart is stimulated to pump more oxgenated blood to the muscles affected. It beats faster . Hearts rythm is passed on to the arteries When you check pulse you will feel strong pulsating artery .So exercising increases pulse rate.
Over exercising can lead to heart attack pulse rate may be reduced
It also causes sweating which can result into shock if lost too much fluids as result pulse rate becomes fible and slow
Exercising can cause irregular pulse rate if there is not much oxgen in the body

Pulse rate increases during exercise as muscles respire faster and use up more and more oxygen. This means that the veins bringing blood back to the heart have a lower concentration of oxygen, and so the veins get wider to allow more blood to enter the heart. The heart must then respond to this by beating faster and with greater strength.

Exercise increases the need for oxygen e.g. to the muscles including the heart itself. Respiration rate will increase to pull in more air containing oxygen and the heart rate will increase also to pump more blood around the body. The blood contains red blood cells which incoporate the pigment haemoglobin which carries oxygen to the parts where its needed and carries away waste carbon dioxide.
Pulse rate will of course increase as a reflection of increased heart rate. Try it out yourself!

Exercise will cause the heart rate to increase. This happens because, as you using your muscles they begin to need more oxygen. thus your heart will work harder to give your muscles more oxygen. It may also have an effect on keeping your body temperature down
