move forward.

That's a tough question, but I'd have to go with staying in technology because of all the benefits it has to offer: It saves a tremendous amount of time, is very convienient; medically, the advances have saved millions of lives.

On the down side, it has decreased human interaction dramatically. People mainly communicate via e-mail or text messages, cell phones while being distracted.

However, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, such as allowing people to work from home, to literally having the world at their fingertips ... you can meet anyone on-line, get any information you need, detailed directions (instead of staring at a map while driving, or better yet a navigator), and get valuable information without leaving your seat.

I think it would be great to live like the pioneers. It would be better for the planet. The constant buzz of technology causes a lot more stress than, say, having to go plow the fields and collect eggs from the chickens.

Let me put it this way. In the 'garden of Eden' situation, there may not have been many cross country travel options, but everyone would have been safe to "eat drink and be merry." I think a lot of what we call improvements have led us along the the road of damage control to the highway of self destruction!

Going forward is the only logical thing but I can see certain negative ideas concerning technology. I say going forward is all we can do :)

Obviously we don't have a choice. However, I would opt for effective, efficient use of technology instead of the crappy way we use it today.

A mix inbetween. I think we need more witchcraft and magic in today's day and age as well, and we should all carry swords and dueling should be allowed.
