I could help you in something. First try to get Guitar Pro 5 (it's a program that you can simulate some songs and sound like the real song, and you can see all what you need to with the guitar to do that part, like lead guitar and secondary guitar.) Need to pay for non-trial version.

Other thing is the AP Guitar Tuner, with it you can tune your guitar to the exact point, free software.

You can see the links for these things at www.tablatures.tk (guitar pro songs archives are inside!) the guitar pro archives have a size of 50KB.

Some easy songs to learn are: Tell Me Baby of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny 'n' Goodie (the song of Back To Future, it's hard but is possible, i did a little part and i'm not a great guitarrist), Welcome To The Black Parade of My Chemical Romance (it's more easy to learn with GP5, really), Satisfaction of The Rolling Stones (always the same thing, very easy), It's My Life of Bon Jovi (easy....), Iron Man of Black Sabbath (Hard, Hard... but it has a simple part that is very simple and sounds like some of the hard parts).

I don't know more easy songs, there are important things, the hard the song in technique (like ''dead notes'' in Mean Street of Van Halen, or ''Full Up'' (when you make sound a note and you make it to move up, if i'm comprensive) like Eruption of Van Halen), hand speed and memorization of large songs.

If you want to see someone that can play the guitar excellently, you must see in You Tube the Canon Rock Song. In much cases the song is accompanied with the real ''orquest'' (because it was from an orquest) but the song in guitar doesn't lie, trust me.
