HOW do i get all the dust out of my sofa?

ok.... its dusty, and i know it is.... how does a person dust a sofa?

giant feather duster didn't do it (and the chicken got mad)

A good, strong vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment! Dusting with a duster won't do the job. A hand-held vac would be handy for in-between-heavy-duty vaccumings.

What my papy does is takes it out on the front porch where we have 2 other sofa's. I might add we also have a recliner in the front yard right by the 5 cars that don't run anymore.
Anyhows this way you never have to worry about dusting it.

In the really old days, pillows & bedding would be taken outdoors & would be beaten with something like a broom. You could still do that & then follow it up with the proper vacuuming tools. Don't use just the vacuum cleaner which I did once. It pulled out fibers which is why its so important to use the proper vacuum tools.

You have to beat your cushions out on the porch- just tell the chicken that sometimes you have to clean to keep things nice. If he doesn't like that then tell him he is dinner if he doesn't shut up.
