I've found hairstyles that I like but truthfully, I'll be dancing and I find it hard to keep my hair under control when it starts to get hot. If I do wear it down should I use any special sprays or anything? If so what kind do you recommend?

These are to of the hairstyles that I like, but i'd like to see if you could find a better one for me. thankkies! =]

Down do:

Up Do: (It's the 2nd one down and the one to the further right.)

I've thought about half up and half down then curling it, but Im not sure of that, Anyone know any tricks?

This is probably too much information, but I am getting married too and you gave me some FABULOUS ideas because of the website ~ so thanks!!!

In my opinion: The second dress (in white) with the first up-do style on the left of the linked page.

You have GREAT taste! Congrats and Happy New Year!!!

Do the up do and spray it with some hair spray to make it nice and stiff however don't let your date touch your hair because it would feel kind of nasty and also wash your hair throughly when you get home. If you expect your date to touch your hair then you might want to consider the down do but prepare for it to be a pain in the...but it is very flirty being that you can swing your hair around to send signals to guys..

Dress #2 with a really elegant up-do. Strapless gowns accent a women's shoulders and neck beautifully and would be ruined by having your hair down.

definitely do a longer hair style. curls?

you could do it half up with a pretty clip or ribbons and curl the hair the comes out and then do the rest with big curls like the picture :)
don't straighten hair around your face, curl it too.
use styling spray for hold.

At my sweet sixteen I had a stylist help me with this kinda stuff, my dress was strapless. Put it up in a fancy bun or any other style or make it lucious curly!

Go with the Giselle like curl. Maybe a little tighter.....and keep it down. An updo on a poufy gown looks to done up.

I would go with an Up do, I like the one in the picture you provided. You said that you will be dancing, so why wear it down when you know you are going to get hot... wear it up. Plus it will show off your shoulders and bare shoulders are sexy! (i think)

usually people do the up do both of them are pretty but if you want to dance you should use the updo but if you put your hair down put some frizz control products like frizz ease and after you finish put on some hair spray!!

do it down, with a deep part on one side. then have it like, wavy/curly and sweep it up on one side. that looks amazing. then when you start dancing you can just sweep it up with a clip, or tie it in a low pony with a ribbon or something. i hate prom hairdos cause they look too stiff and played out. go sexy and sophisticated. just make sure they dont do those two stupid long curls on each side of your face. it makes girls look like catfish.

Down- Do!!! I think that Giselles hair looks really beautiful. Up-do's can look really tacky, and with a strapless dress, hair coming down will look really pretty!! Down-Do... definetly!!
