Not at all.. if it's hot outside, don't bother wearing a sweater just because it's "winter time". Besides, I think it is cute, especially with tights.... Just as long as it doesn't have pictures of the beach on it or something your fine =)

I don't think it's tacky, but then. . . I'm one of those people who doesn't get cold. I'm jealous of people who do- they get to wear all the plushy warm fabrics that look so nice. Now while I don't think it's tacky, you WILL get people asking you if you're cold fifty times a day if you don't put some tights with it.

Noooo Waaaaay, is it tacky. If you have it you might as well flaunt it. Iam from upstate New York and we have really snowy cold winters, wich really suck because i am one who loves to dress in short skirts and heels. But i do not let the weather stop me from doing it.

winter is the time for lush, thick, or warm looking fabrics and colors.
so if it's a wool, corduroy, or a dark color.
you should be good. darker wash denim great works too.

layer on top, or wear a light sweater.
and pair of nice casual-dress shoes. don't wear flip flops. and you'll be set.

do me a huge favor and don't fall into the leggings trend. :)
but tights are ok...

For the winter time... as long as there is no leg showing, it's perfectly fine. Wear it with tights and tall boots (but make sure the tights are opaque, that's a must with boots).

No, its not tacky. It could be cold, but the right boots or leggings could make the difference. And don't complain if you are cold either. THATS tacky.

I'm in Florida right now and I'm wearing one! If it isn't cold, it doesn't matter what season it is!! I grew up here and I wore summer clothes all year round, unless there was a cold spell it just didn't figure.

But if it gets cold, then you're in trouble- cuz if you complain people will think you're just wearing it for attention.

If you dress it up to look winter appropriate it is ok. Don't wear a skirt with sandals. That will look stupid. Tall boots or ankle boots would probably be best.

No, well not if you're wearing opaque tights. If you are then OK, bare legs would look a bit daft though, oh and trashy.

kind of... unless you wear leggings and tall boots and a sweater on top. make sure your body is covered, like no flesh visible.
abercrombie & fitch has cute clothes to layer like that.
