Outide my home...there is one v old banyan tree(it's about 200 year old tree)as my grandparents told me once.

Since past 6 months the tree's growth has stoped and it's shedding all it's leaves and it look horrible now with hardly few leaves and the tree looks v sick.

The tree is located in the center of our society's street and i would really like to find any solution or treatment for the aging tree....is their any Tree saving organisation working to save trees??

I'm living here in Jalandhar city of Punjab in India and is their any such organisation in Punjab??

1. contact municipal corporation jalandhar. tell them the case. its under their jurisdiction to make repairs and maintenance.
Give a written letter request, & do not be fooled by oral replies.

2. if there is any society welfare association, find out who is secretary and contact this person. Again Give a written letter request, & do not be fooled by oral replies.
