What I normally do is price it up myself from places like Microdirect or Misco. If you can get the same for a lot cheaper then you know you are being ripped off. If its fifty quid or less in the difference I normally accept that as a good deal, as you get a years warranty and its built for you.

This one isn't bad. I would say great deal if it came with a TFT monitor.

The price is ok for the spec, you'd pay alot more for a top brand like HP/Sony/Tosh etc

Acer is fast becoming a well respected notebook provider, it's all about your own preference really. But the spec is good for the price.
