Did anybody get to attend the James Brown memorial in NYC's Apollo Theater? Is anybody going to be attending the James Brown funeral at the James Brown Arena in Agusta, Georgia?

The memorial at the Apollo Theatter here in NYC and the James Brown Arena in Agusta GA are for the fans - their will be a private funeral for the family at a Baptist Church in Agusta GA.

I actually went to the New York memorial - I didn't get to go inside to see the coffin because you had to wait 6 hours on line to view him, but folks who saw him said it was very moving and emotional - a final sendoff to a great man on the stage where he became famous!

Yes, I did attend but I stood on line for four hours trying to get in but I was so tired and just stood outside with the other spectators across the street from the Apollo! It was so sad to see on the news that he was just lying there and not being the electrifying entertainer and vibrant person he was. This man contributed so much and touched so many people as well as entertaining them which is why the line was so long-it went up from 125th street to 128 street! It was an outpouring of love and appreciation for this legend. May he R.I.P. No one could do it better than the truly "Hardest Working Man In Show Business". However, I'm not going to the funeral in Georgia-it's too far away for me since I live in NYC but I'm sure it will also be an emotional experience for many. But I do agree with Miss Mina that it's better to have a coffin closed and not put a body on display-it is creepy and kind of morbid too.

April fifth 2012 is the starting up of the Spring Mysteries competition XXVII, a sport of the Eleusinian Mysteries on the Wiccan Aquarian Tabernacle Church. This coincides with the April fifth JW Memorial of rejecting the blood and body of Jesus' sacrifice, and there are about 10 Kingdom Halls surrounding the area of that Wiccan church! Christians might want to keep doing what Jesus commanded on an popular foundation. The Bible suggested Jesus change into breaking the bread for the period of good right here 40 days after His resurrection, it truly is Jesus showing us a thanks to obey His training. The JW annual observance of complete rejection is satanically inspired! i'm not an ex-Witness, inspite of the indisputable fact that. only a Christian apologist, extra up Baptist, grew to change into non-denominational, with a painful lower back damage!

No, but I would have if I lived in New York. Although I think it's kind of creepy to put bodies on display. Why can't they leave the damn coffin closed and hang up pictures or something?
