Christians believe that God created everything. They believe that Jesus was God's son and that God sent Jesus down to Earth to save everyone, even people that aren't believers. If you don't believe that Jesus was God's son, you are more like a Jew. They believe that Jesus was a prophet, not His son.
A Christian 'fault' is a sin and when you turn away from God that is a sin.

Christians believe in the Trinity - Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Christians believe in being born again which means to believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Christians believe Jesus paid the debt for our sins and we are forgiven. Christians believe in the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. Christians believe there is a eternal place for all - Heaven or Hell. Christians believe Jesus came into this world as a baby born of Mary, died on the cross, and rose again on the third day. These are the basic beliefs.

Christians believe in the life and existence of Christ. We believe that the Holy Bible is the true and authority word of God. The faults (for lack of a better word) lies not in Christianity as much as in many Christians themselves. Those faults are often called organized religion, in other words the attitudes often displayed when one proclaiming to be a Christian closes his mind to anything other than that which he feels is right.

The NUMBER ONE thing you have to know about what we believe is who/what we believe about Jesus: Jesus was with God in Heaven, he came to earth as a babe, born of a virgin, grew up to be a man that preached, taught and healed in order to give us the model of how we should be, he was then betrayed, beaten, and crucified. He died, was buried and three days later he rose again...he was seen by many witnesses and ascended to the father where he now waits until the day His Father, our God, sends him to gather His own. There is no other way to Heaven but to accept Jesus as the Son of God and Savior of our souls...anything else is purely details.

For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

None of us is perfect we all have our imperfections and it is our job to try to diminish our imperfections.

Christians believe that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to be born of a Virgin (Mary), live as a human being subjected to the same temptations we experience daily, to die on the cross in our place ( to conquer death so that when we die we immediately go to Heaven or Hell). Jesus returned to Heaven and will return to Earth to take those who believe in him to Heaven.

This is an extremely basic explanation of what Christians believe. I encourage you to find out more by attending services at your local church of your choice and read the bible.

As far as being born again, as we all know no man may return to the womb and be physically be born again. To be born again means to be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit of God. Being baptized is a public affirmation of the acceptance of God and Jesus.

The old testament section of the bible is historical and prophetic. The new testament is historical and prophetic and gives the teachings of Jesus Christ. If you find the King James version of the bible too cumbersome to read please get a copy of one in NIV or American Standard language.

Good luck and blessings to you!

there is nothing wrong with christianity. It teaches "turning the other cheek", "let he who is without sin cast the first stone", and is a lot less fire and brimstone-ish than the Jewish and muzzie religions.
