I found it in my basement when we first moved into my house 8 years ago. It has engravings on the bell, and says "ABBOTT" the mouthpiece is an Olds 3, and the serial number is B455. Can you tell me how old it is? It also says "Czechoslovakia" near the mouthpiece. I'm wondering how much it is worth. It is in pretty good condition, except the bell is dented, and there are some minor dents on it. The little rings you put your fingers on are gone, and it's a little eroded.

Take it to an appraiser in your area. They can tell you the value.

No one can tell you the approximate value unless they see the instrument face to face.

I would post this question under multiple categories so you can find someone who knows what they're talking about. The music category is mainly for songs, so I don't know if you'll get anything really accurate.

Sorry I can't be a bigger help. Good luck!
