My youngest son (three at the time) once dropped his favorite toy so that a 20-somthing woman at the mall would pick it up and bring it back to him. He likes female attention a great deal, and it was interesting to watch him plan it out from the corner of my eye. It worked, too.

Yes!!!!
When I was young it was a big thing to drop a pen so the girl would pick it up and you could look down her blouse! Well, I told this to some of the young guys Iwas working with, and they would drop their pens when I saaw them. So, one day i was at my desk and a couple walked by and i dumped my pen jar on the floor!!!!! We all got such a laugh!!!

I used to drop things on the floor on purpose at work to see if anyone would pick it up.If someone did I gave them 5 bucks and after awhile there would be NOTHING on the floor EVER ! They had to ruin my fun!

I haven't personally, but the girls' do this as a way to start a conversation with a person they like. It works.

I use to throw tea bags on the floor at my work so my boss would pick them up. He was cute and it worked evertime. Sucker! haha
