There is a link to the Yahoo News Article that includes a video. Personally, it took me over 5 years to figure out I was not allergic to chicken, or eggs, or beef, but rather the ANTIBIOTICS they pumped them up with.

It will be quite a while before cloned animals are competitively priced for consumption.
I voted no, partly for cost considerations, but mostly because we do not know the consequences that may develop from cloning animals.
As you mentioned, antibiotics in animal products have caused you problems in the past.
Genetically modified plants are not only creating problems, but are also creating less nutritious products than heritage plants.
In twenty years I may consider cloned animals for food, but I am more likely to abandon anything except carefully protected free range animals. We have noticed, that a certain amount of socialization is necessary to maintain an immune system, but overcrowding has created other problems.
Right now, I would prefer fresh, certified organic free range foods.
The link didn't work.
It is definitely something to be concerned about, but in something so important as food, I am not an early adopter to new technology.

I'm not sure about this yet. The FDA expects us to just be cool with it and trust them when honestly how can you trust anything the FDA says. They are all about their own bottom line anyway. Half of the drugs and food they say are okay are killing us (look it up nay sayers... find the truth for yourself before you start bashing me and calling me a liberal or commie).
I don't mind that they want to do this, what i have a problem with is the fact that though a majority of us would like the packaging marked to tell us, they say that is unneeded and unnecessary as it is the same product as "real" meat, but as consumers we have every right to know if we are eating organic meats, processed meats or cloned organic/processed meats, Period.
Many cloned animals harbor more disease and die sooner. Sure they won't feed us these, but without more years of testing how can we be sure it is 100% safe...
And really it's cool to clone animals and eat them but it isn't okay to move forward in stem cell research so we can work on finding cures?

I don't know what the big "Woo-Hoo" about this clone topic...
I think it's perfectlly normal... they're just not made the NATURAL way...
If bloody humans can be made using the test-tube method, then why can't animals be made to do so to?
Maybe the chicken is having trouble fertilizing her egg?

Apparently there may be no harm in consummation of Cloned Animals meat, yet I will definitely avoid it, unless by experience it proved better. We love natural food. Your experience is alarming.

Cloning could eliminate such things as Mad Cow Disease, by choosing the healthiest animals to be cloned.

there's nothing wrong with that food, in fact, cloning will lower prices and bring up quality.
