Basically the same thing happened to me when I first got my period, I was so upset at the fact so I looked up different ways of helping keep track and found the absolutely perfect website, just go on and record EVERY single time you have your period, lets say you get it on monday, you'll go on, check off monday saying you had gotten it, if it lasts until thursday then you'll mark everyday that passes with your period until thursday, it's very simple and sends a reminder to let you know, a couple of times in the beginning when I was still irregular it was sometimes off by a day or so but thats only because it will still be sorting out your routine, after recording a couple periods it will calculate your menstraul cycle for the next two years! Just click the link below and set up an account.

As someone mentioned wearing panty liners isn't a bad idea.
I would suggest keeping a journal or you can mark on a calendar (that's in your room) when you bleed. Keeping track of when you bleed might help you to know your cycle as your hormones stabilize. Unfortunately, it's not unusual to have an irregular cycle.

i got friend also have period problem. after the first time last for 5 days then in the same month....just after 7 days, come the second time. so she go look for a doctor....after she look for doctor, the doctor told her that's normal, for detail....she didn't tell me.
but as your situation, you better go look for a doctor to check up for safety. everyone's health is different.
take care.

This is very normal. It takes a while for your period to become regular. Just wear pantyliners for now. If you are in doubt, see a gynacologist. All the best!

Its very common for about the first year to be irregular. When it happened to me, they put me on a very low dose of birth control pills to regulate my cycle. Not sure if they do that anymore.
