I'd be stunned.
I'm much too old.

Yes, you do feel different and it's not easily spotted. The most common sign is a late period and a bloated feeling moreso than usual, its there even if the period is expected.
The next one is a feeling that you are up and down hormonally because thats what happens so its tricky you can have a 'phantom pregnancy' but the easiest way to tell is to wait for your normal period, if it does'nt come wait a couple of weeks after then do a test.
The HCG levels if present are the pregnancy hormones found in your urine so if they are there you will get a positive result.

That's kind of hard to answer. With me, I knew because my period never changes and I never skip a month, and when mine didn't come when it was suppose to I knew. And now I am pregnant again and it happened the same way. But I think everyone's body reacts to it differently, some women still have their period while being pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to take a test. If it keeps coming out negative, then take a test at your OBGYN's office. Good luck.

with my second i was sat on night watching t.v two weeks or so before period was due and i felt little cramping like period pain for a little while. i just had this thought of a little baby making itself comfy pop into my head, i didn't know why. That's when i knew.
so i wasn't suprised when i was late and did the test just expecting it to be positive. It came up a strong positive straight away. I'd have been seriously GUTTED if it was negative!!
oh and there was this man in the local that could tell people were pregnant before they even suspected. He told me couple of weeks before i found out with first and i laughed at him. scary bugger!

I did with my first pregnancy. Strangely, with this one I didn't have a clue. If I hadn't tried to scare my husband at a classic car day I may not have realised until i was two or three months!

If you don't get a period, take a test from the drug store so that you can pee on the stick. Your breasts may ache and you may feel crampy too. Vomiting and nausua are also signs. Read books on it.

Well you don't get your period? Thats kind of a major sign! You might feel a little tired, tummy aches and sore breasts. Do a test or see your GP.
