i just bought a playstation 2 and i have tried playing dvds in it, but i forgot the password that i put in as a parental control it, is there some way to reprogram it???

put in a DVD that asks for the password
as soon as that screen comes up, push SELECT
do not push anything, except SELECT, once
now, it still asks for a password - put in 7-4-4-4
it will ask you to set a new parental pass, you should put something easy to remember like 0-0-0-0 or 1-2-3-4

try oooooo or ur b-day but sorry do not think you can re-program but check on they're website to see if there is a master lock password

Look on the back for a reset button. It will be very small and hidden.
