I saw the movie and loved it. How many books are in the series, and what are they called? Who writes them?

It is a Trilogy, of which only the first two are out.
First one is called Eragon
Second one: Eldest
Third one probably will come out middle of 2007.
All were written by Christopher Paolini. He wrote Eragon when he was only fifteen years old.

So far, there is only two in the series, Eragon and Eldest. Book Three of Inheritance will be out later. They are written by Christopher Paolini in Montana. He first wrote Eragon when he was a teenager!

only 2 right now...Eragon and Eldest...but more on the way. The author is Christopher Paolini (he was only 16 when he wrote it!)
