Patriot Act to name one.. I am sure you have many more examples.

Well, the constitution does, and even though we have had several laws like th Patriot act, they never last, because those laws are created in moments of fear, and once everybody calms down, we see what idiots we've been. I also plan to lobby my representative to repeal it.

Because America does respect its citizens' freedoms. We have the right to vote, to practice our religions or not to practice anything, to assemble peacefully, to travel, to get a great public education, to work, own our own property and run our own lives regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, country of origin, education level, disability...as long as we are law-abiding citizens.

The Patriot Act does not make me lose any of my rights...I defy you to tell me one single way it infringes on my rights.

Patriot act does not apply to citizens, it applys to terrorists in the US. Maybe you should be more careful at the library and on the cell.....

Because of our Bill of Rights gives us that liberty. In theory.

Unless business/political policy, interests say differently.
