If you ask me what type of law your concerned about I can help u.... I'm a professional in the media/music/film field.
If you purchase a product, and copy it for personal use, it is ok. If you download music & distribute it, than it becomes copyright infringement regardless of how you do it

The best places would be google or Ask.com. they are very reliable when it comes to finding sources. Or if this does not work, try another persons answer. :)
