I had a baby four months ago and i'm having the hardest time losing weight. I'm a mail carrier and I walk 5 hours a day and I thought for sure the weight would just fall off. I gained 45 pounds and lost only 15 so far, I'm eating good and exercising. What the heck I'm I doiong wrong?

It can take 6-12 months to finish losing your baby weight. Breastfeeding helps you to lose the weight faster. If you are not breastfeeding, you can talk to your doctor about other ways to help lose the baby weight.

are you drinking plenty of water? And most importantly are you eating enough? If you are trying to hard to diet your body will think you are starving and will hold on to all the excess weight! With you walking that much a day you should probably use a calorie calculator to make sure you are getting enough calories! Give yourself 9 months before you worry too much. They say "9 to put it on and 9 to take it off" now obviously this isn't true in everyone's case but some women just have a harder time losing the weight and it isn't technically considered a "problem" unless you have gone over the nine months and still are not losing.Don't get too down about it~~ Hard work and it WILL HAPPEN!!

I also had a baby 4 months ago and I am having a hard time losing the weight too but you have to remember that it took 9 months to put that weight on and it can take up to a year to lose it.

You definitely need more time-- keep doing what you are doing-- the weight will come off:)

Be patient and remember- it took 9 months for you to put the extra pounds on- it will take more than 4 months for the weight to come off.

Nothing. Keep doing what you are doing. Your body took nine months to get that way and it may take that long to get it back. Your body is still recovewring from the birth. It will all go back eventually.

Nothing, it can take awhile for the weight to come off. Just keep eating healthy, excerising and doing your job.

Keep doing what you are doing the weight will come off. The weight will come off slowly, but it will come off.
