is being a paid subscriber to U2.com worthwhile.
Though being a longtime U2 fan i've never felt the need to pay for subscription to their website, but i'm hesitating now.

So should or shouldn't i do it?

Well it is basically up to you if you want to do that but I guess if you know the benefits of subscribing then that can help you decide for yourself. I am not much of a fan and hence would not be subscribing but here are the benefits. You will get:

A copy of ‘ZOO2LIVE- U2 LIVE IN SYDNEY', a double CD concert special featuring 24 tracks and two hours of music recorded in Sydney on the ZOO TV Tour.

A U2.com email address (eg. polly@u2.com) with a web-based mail service.

Exclusive band stories, features and other online content.

Access to all archived U2.Com news.

Full length audio and video streams covering 25 years of U2’s recordings and performances, including rare and exclusive content.

Subscribers-only message boards and discussion forums within the U2 online community Zootopia.

Regular Subscriber emails to keep you up to speed with both band and site.

A 25% discount coupon for your first purchase from the U2.Com Shop.

If you are a new member the cost is $40. If you are resubscribing you get a 20% discount on this, so you pay $32.

So if you think it's worth it then go ahead otherwise...continue hesitating along.

Speaking as one who forgot to keep up after the first four albums, I'd say hesitate a bit longer there, my friend... a year or so...
