Man we have become soft as a country, back in the pre-vietnam days there would be no sympathy for a man who raped peoples wives at a whim, had people shot and then charged the family for the bullet, gassed thousands of citizens to quiet them, planned to assasinate a US president, started wars with his neighbors kuwait and Iran, wanted nuclear and bioliogical chemical weapons, and although not proven planned to blow up world trade center, I mean come on people, open your eyes, Saddam was a bad man, history will remember him as a evil tyrant. So why is there such outcry for an evil tyrant? I think these people just hate america and should leave on the first flight out.

"The US govt sanctioned upto 200 million worth military support to Iraq. The US Govt sold various Chemical and Biological weapons to Iraq including anthrax bacteria!! All this to promote its military sales? or what?
Now what should we do to the US govt? hang all of them?

The US Govt also provided economic support to Iraq during that 1980s. All this to provoke Iraq to continue thier war on Iran and other arab nations!

The first and second gulf wars, including the third one all served american interests. And the US govt made sure they won finally!"

Typical liberal trash. Blame the USA!, its all the USA's fault!, Saddam has no culpability in his actions, its the USA, thanks, I didnt know we were too blame for Kuwait and Iran wars, wow. .

Why should saddam hussien be hanged.

What about the support the US givernment gave Iraq during First gulf war when Iraq invaded Iran. The US govt sanctioned upto 200 million worth military support to Iraq.

And the US govt made sure they won finally!

And if someone is thinking killing saddam will bring peace, they are mistaken it will cause more unrest. Only if american troops completely withdraw from Iraq will there be any peace in both countries.

The News Media slant and Miss inform and under report to there Liking.

My fear is if you would put him in prison for life there would always be the chance that someday he could be freed to become once again a "Weapon Of Mass Destruction."

However if the world doesn't care for Hanging why Not the Middle Easts Entertainment of Choice - Caining Yes Repeated Brutal Caining Televised to the World Focusing the Signal on The Vatican Straight At the Pope. Maybe then this man and his boys would realize that they need to get out of the Dark Ages and denounce these Terrorist as what they are.

I totally agree with you. He is a very bad man. Yet I somehow feel strangely sad about his execution. There are so many leaders out there far worse than Saddam yet we chose a preemptive strike against his country largely because he was an easy target for our 911 revenge. We screwed up and let Bin Laden get away so Bush needed Muslim butt to kick. I hate to say this but I felt safer when Saddam was the leader than I do now and you know what? I'll bet most Iraqis feel the same way.

Is it possible that the only way warring tribes, that seem to care less about their country, can be held together is by fear. Will this civil war only lead to another brutal, vicious dictator?
