now i know that it takes a while to get your period after getting off of depo. but i have spotted in nov since then nothing. but i cramp so bad and i think i am going to start so i go to the bathroom and nothing.then sometimes it feels like i am on my period and nothing agian. I got off of depo in july. but i have some discharge every now and then. My breast have been hurting every since i got off of depo but dr says from growing. negative pg test what should i do?help me please

you will need a withdrawal bleeding from progesterone only pill (e.g., norethisterone 5 mg thrice daily x 5 days) following 2 weeks of which you must get menses. alternatively, or if progesterone only pill fails, you can take estrogen/progesterone pill for 21 days (e.g., ethanyl estradiol & levonorgestrel -check at your local chemist) following 1 week of which you must get your menses. from day 1-5 you may start on ovulation induction drug like clomiphene citrate or letrozole (if it's approved for that in your area). monitor response by follicular studies, and have sex on follicle rupture. ingest micronised progesterone for next 2 weeks (200 mg twice daily). and then pray that menses dont come. this should be enough. good luck.

It can take up to a year at least to get your body back on track after being on depo.

It can take awhile for your periods to become regular again, or even to get your period.
