Family~never had 'the talk' but after a decade of dragging the same guy to wedings, funeral, holidays, they figured it out and never really said anything except, "Gee, he's a nice guy". Of course getting caught making out on the sofa when little brother brought the high school football team home was a BIG clue.
Friends~Same answer as above sans the caught making out part.
Co-workers~pretty much, its on a need to know basis. I work with kids so stuff like that, no one makes an issue about their private lives.

Not sure what this means. If it means in good or bad relations with family, friends or coworkers then it will vary. There are no perfect families. There are always those who have their struggles, but we love them in spite of their problems. Friends are like family, only we pick them so we like them a real lot! Co-workers can be okay or annoying. We can't change others, we can change ourselves. How we see others does not reflect anything about others...it reveals our character. I am a christian. I love all people, even when I don't especially like their ways. Love is only love when it is tested.

I am out to my family, with the exception of some of the older members of the family - I figure why cause them distress at this time of their lives.
I am out to most of my friends - with some it has never come up. My sexuality is not something I discuss.
Co-Workers - not applicable because I am a college student.

Out to about everybody, however, my life is so much more than just my sexual orientation.
There are usually a lot of other things which seem very important to talk about, so we never get around to discussing something as essential to my core personality and life course as being gay, that's all.
Even the weather and the price of eggs is more important than my life, so why would I mention it to my family or friends.

I'm out to my friends. I've been out long enough so that I've only got friends that are fine with homosexuality, so it's nice. ^_^.
Family... iffy. Some of my family knows, some don't. For example, I have uncles that are homophobic, so I avoid telling them, so as not to make a scene.
Co-workers... I'll take that as peers since I don't have co-workers. ;). Yes, I'm out to them, and while occasionally someone will make an issue of it, they usually simmer down when I or someone around me makes them look stupid for their intolerance.

Out to family - only one family member who is my cousin. The rest of my very big family doesn't know, because they aren't very comfortable about people being gay. However, my mom suspects.
Friends- all
co-workers- i'm a student so I'm out to other students who are my friends.

I am out to every person I am in contact with, family, friends and co-workers - - - I wear my wedding ring and introduce my husband as such in every instance. I have been in a happy loving relationship with Joe since 1989 I see no reason to hid my love.

Family: Out to two of five sisters, to my one brother, and not to my parents. I suspect all of them know, and don't much care.
I'm out to several friends, and I've been outed at work, although that was years ago, before I got married and had kids (it's a long and confusing story).
I'm not out to all of my family members because my family was EXTREMELY homophobic when I was a kid, and I was traumatized by it (I recognized that I was gay at about age eight, and began taking all that crap personally).
Everybody else finds out if I happen to think it's appropriate to tell them.

I first came out to my friends about 4 years ago. 2 years after that I came out to my family....well, it was more they found out. And then when I started my first job I didn't have to come out because people just assumed seeing me with my girlfriend all the time.
I've never had any negative comments thrown my way and lets just hope it stays that way.
