how can I remove a previous searchfrom my searchblockI would like to clean everything out.?

Go under tools, browser options, and push the clear search button and the clear URLs button.

I am assuming you are talking about your browser search, most have an option button on the search box itself to clear them.. if you are trying to "clean it up", I usually go to tools.. internet options and delete the Browsing History, which gets rid of the temporary files, cookies etc...

click on the arrow next to the search block and your searches will be displayed and at the bottom there should be a box to "clear search history".
