How do I get a salesman to work on commission only?
I’m looking for people to work on commission bases to sell shoes & other things with Brand Name & good items for local stores & on the web (it could be even part time in your local area)

I know I would never be interested in a position like that. I think in any position, if you want a good employee you have to pay them well. Why don't you pay by the hour a wage and then offer a commission with that. At least then you may have some who is half decent, and the big picture is you will make more $$ too.

If someone offered me a job that was commission only I wouldn't waste my time even asking what the job was. I've yet to come across a decent commission only job. I'm not saying you're out to rip people off but that's certainly the impression I have of commission only jobs.

If you want to employ someone on that basis then you'll need to woirk hard to convince them that it's legitimate and that you're genuine.

I don't know what country you're in but in the UK commission only is practically illegal unless your salesperson is not contracted to you - meaning they can work as and when they want, how and where they want etc.

There is a lot of unemployement out there. Just paste job opening in your store counter, notice board, advertise in any daily. You'll get lots of applicants you need.
