Did you even try going to Cingular first?

Any cingular phone can be used as a go phone, but they start at $20 and go up to several hundred.
They allow you to either pay as you go, or give you "plans" at rates that are a bit higher than a contract, but no credit check.
Cingular is soon raising their texting rates to 15c each, just so you know.
