Almost always, and I have an inability to read a book AFTER having seen the movie.
There are some exceptions. I hated the book the Da Vinci code, and only felt bored with the movie.
Blade runner: LOVED the book, and loved the movie even more because it put faces to the names, and I was crazy about the faces.

I read the book "In her Shoes" and loved the book and author so much that I was ecstatic to find out they had made it into a movie starring Cameron Diaz! It was ok, but preferred the book instead.

oh yeah the movie was way better .the book went into to much detail and by the time you were done reading a paragraph you felt drained and bored.
