The movie is several years old, and was one of the first movies to make use of a new fancy way of moving the camera - a technique that worked really well in action scenes!

The scene include of course a massive explotion, and the main target is the first floor of a building mainly made of dark glass.
The action scene in question is within the first 5-10 minutes of the movie.

Is anyone able to remember which movie this could be?

Let me mention the obvious:
It's made in hollywood.
It's either a thriller og an action movie.
Fairly popular in its days.
Not more than 5-6 years old.
Featuring at least one A or B star.

Give me your best guess!

ugh i hate action video clips, and that i imagine the really reason action picture snobs look down on human beings for liking them is because they make contributions to the further introduction of those dumb action video clips. Do you keep in thoughts how nauseating it made it at one element? The very last action Hero? I easily have a rule even as it is composed of going to ascertain videos, if there is more suitable than 2 explosions contained in the movie preview it would want to not be nicely worth seeing, yet i might want to receive it later. i understand some movie snobs dont discriminate between warfare Drama and action videos yet i understand I do. warfare Drama's frequently are depending round truthfully activities, not sci fi or made up ones and for the most area they're performed nicely. in call for human being Wars, even as I hate the first 3 episodes which i imagine are very "actiony" is slightly of paintings, its the Iliad, Odessey, and Aeneid of our time so some distance as i'm worried. i can't stand action videos, nor can am I prepared on the damned horror videos. sigh searching a strong horror flick is like searching one hundred dollar bill on the sidewalk, its uncommon and once you do its lengthy previous earlier the day is performed. also, why do you care what action picture snobs say? have you ever considered any overseas videos? artfully performed anime? imagine of flicks as literature, you've the products of paintings performed by dickens, and then you've the heaping piles of crap performed by Maxim that no human being will communicate of in per week.

I'm thinking maybe Swordfish? That first scene where the girl blows up and they use bullettime to slow it all down and show the destruction, including all of the windows of the first floor of the bank

It sounds like "Die Hard with a Vengeance", in which a Bonwit Teller store is blown up in midtown NYC traffic (they have a truck flip over as a result of the explosion) and it is the first major scene of the film

Sounds like either a Bruce Willis movie, one of the Mel Gibson/Danny Glover movies or Mission impossible.
