We don't know why you two got separated in the first place. Were you cheating on her and she left and started cheating on you? Two or three or a hundred wrongs don't make a right. So if you wronged her and then she turned around and wronged you that is not right. Wanting her back and working on the problems is a step in the RIGHT direction. Just up and getting a divorce without at least trying to repair the marriage would be wrong too.
Marriage is a lifetime commitment to be worked on and worked on. It is not a game for two. If she also would like to work on this marriage then by all means take her back. There are other people who have had their marriage nearly riped apart and and now there marriage is stronger than ever.
Go to counciling and the two of you(that is if she wants the marriage to work) wine and dine each other. Find something good to say about each other (you to her and she to you). If she has beautiful eyes say so, a nice smile a pleasant laugh, etc by all means say so. Say something along that line daily. Bring her flowers. A single flower even, ever so often.
Some men have a car they treasure and devote a lot of time to it. Washing, waxing, buffing and accessarising. He can talk about the car he likes very much. Well, perfume her, massage her, get her a new dress or watch or ring and sing her praises. Make her purr like a kitten like some men do there cars; and like that car can have a tiger under the hood you can have a tigress in bed....purrrrr varooom. Charm that kitty and get a tiger.
If there is something wrong with the car man checks it out, gets a manual on the car and if need be takes it to a mechanic. If thee wife be out of tune; then if you don't know how to solve the problem then by all means find the right mechanic for her, doctor, marriage councilor, a close friend who she confides in who can give you an idea and if needs be there are books about marriage and what makes them tick. Purrrrrrr Varoooom.
A man invests in his car and one who wants his marriage to work invests in it also; so that it will reap benefits. Purrrrrr Varooom, nice kitty; meow.

File for Legal Seperation so that she cannot use your name on anything for any reason. This includes the home, bank accounts, etc etc. She will have to get cash from somewhere else. This always tends to get their attention really fasy. Then lets see if the person she is sleeping with, wants to finance her as well.

Sorry to say you just might be happier with some one that loves you enough not to cheat. You can work things out with this gal if your both sincere and willing. She has to want to come back
often when a spouse has left and the finds out that the one she left is dating , they get jealous and return, its worth a try and if she doesn't comeback your already out there fishing for a new gal
But this romance is currently like a broken toy that that either needs to be replaced or fixed

Yes you should file for a divorce because she has definitely moved on and it sounds like she won't be coming back.

if separated for a yr she'll be filing for divorce herself so if you can't wait for the yr to be up then file but it does take time for the paperwork so it's really up to you.
the other thing you need to consider is why did you separate in the first place and were you trying to reconsile b/c it seems if she's found someone else then she left you for good when you separated.

When the divorce is final and she pays you alimony for cheating, buy yourself a sportscar, get a haircut and go on vacation to celebrate. You deserve better and believe me, it's out there. Looking great and being successful is your best revenge.

File the papers. She's married to you, not dating you. Marriage is supposed to be a lifetime commitment. She's not following through with her promise to you. You deserve someone who will put her mutual effort into creating and maintaining a decent relationship. If she can't or wont do that, she should hit the road and give you your freedom to find someone who will.

The question is do yo want her back? If she hurt you once then she is most likely to do it again and do you want to subject yourself to that. If there are children involved that makes it harder, but you have to live for you and your happiness, a family with two fighting parents is no good . Make a choice for you and go with your instincts.
