You gotta be kidding? Just because the TV shows show women kicking ars all over, even Xena, warrior princess broke a few bones in the stunts she was supposed to do, and she isn't exactly a shrinking violet at 6'
Men have the muscles because of humanities past and an extra 10% body mass. There is NO contest.
Based on a lot of the answers here, most people in the USA (or at least here on Y/A) are culturally brain washed.... ;-)

Men have more testosterone in their bodies, therefore they have the ability to produce more strength and muscle than women.
Now since almost all sports are physical. The men are always going to have a distinct advantage because of this.

It depends on the sport. Just imagine two football teams made up of 200to250lb women running up and down the field.

It depends on the sport. If its chasing and teasing men, then women win. If its most other popular sports like basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, track, soccer of course its men.

It does not depend on the sport. It depends on the person. I know a girl who was good a football and a boy who was good a volleyball. So you get the idea

Depends on what sport and depends on what kind of people. Like Girls can play football but guys also play.Some girls are better than Some guys and some guys are better than Some girls.

at the time men, but according to scientists women will beat men in few decades or centuries, according to their data, IN 100 meters women have increased their speed more than men have i the last couple decades. i hate to say it but men are kinda gettin behind lil bit. lol
