There was no problem except a President made preemptive strike which broke the 2nd Constutution. Which states that we will never strike first and will only take arms if we are struck first.
Bush stated, " Those old men years ago don't realize what the world is like now, I will strike when I feel I want to". These Constitution were never to be broke but this President has not broke one but breaks one when he pleases. We have no freedom of speech what I mean by that is listening in on our phone calls, reading our emails, come in our homes without us knowing they are coming , take what they want and not even if aren't at home letting you know they were there. If this isn't like Dictator I don't guess I've heard of one. When I hear people say"Bush is the best President we ever had", I wonder just how ignorant the people have become under this President. His Dad came back in Desert Storm war without entering Iraq, because he said if you go in you have bought Iraq. I've was never so happy when the Congress and Senate became Democrat, now we'll see how he many he breaks. He was making speeches before this midterm elections about how sorry the Democrats are and now when see him speak he has cowered down,. He states we must work together the Democrats and Republicans, I want to get along. That proves what a coward he is while our troops are killed and maimed daily while Bush, Cheney, and Rice set on their fat behinds without a care in the world. I will get a report of abuse from the office , but I.don't care.

Americans aren't the ones killing innocent Iraqi citizens. And even the President is not killing innocent Iraqi citizens. The real killers are from neighboring nations.
This war is not about oil, never has been. It is also not about any hairbrained idea that it's revenge for Bush Sr. What it IS about is establishing a forward base in the ME, to deal with the future threat that is Iran.
How to help? Send 70 thousand more well equipped troops to lock the borders, institute Biometric Passports and stop these scumbag insurgents from causing more trouble. Dragging out a war is never a good idea. You have to fight, you absolutely decimate your enemy until they can no longer get to their feet. Fast, violent and over with quickly.

The answer is simple and devastating.
We are there because to our 'leaders' the attacks of 9/11 were nothing more than another political opportunity.
The only question americans should be asking about Iraq is:
Are we getting payback for 9/11 there?
