Why would you want to be buried with your shoes on? I personally plan to be buried in a pink satin gown with a satin robe on over it. I mean, they go to all the trouble to make caskets look like comfy beds with satin linings and a pillow for your head. I figure, hey, if I'm gonna take the big dirt nap I may as well be comfortable. That definitely means shoes are a big ole NO WAY!!!

I think most people are buried with shoes, but I hope they don't bury me with shoes because I love to go barefoot most of the time, and in the resurrection I don't want to be wearing shoes!

I don't think it really matters, but I suppose being in repose it is just a custom. You can request shoes be placed on the body. When preparing my mom's body, the funeral director told us full underwear and pantyhose had to be used. I wish that weren't the case. The first thing I do when I get home to relax is take all that off after kicking off my shoes!
Since we are absent from the body in death, it really doesn't make a difference though.

I don't know what you are talking about,I mean in the sense of, maybe everyone is different. My great aunt who passed away about three years ago was buried with a nice pair of pink heels that she loved so much.

You don't see their feet and they don't need them. But we buried my dad with shoes and socks on, just because it felt right to do that.
