Because there is still a lot of bigotery on all sides which some are passed on by our ancestor's. As long as this old world stands there will be racist's among some people.

I think the world is still racist because racism is taught to people at a young age therefore it is difficult to erase and they teach it to their kids. I have been around racism all of my life and it gets very tiring. I don't know how we can defeat it. People are just morons.

I beg to differ..... The WORLD isn't racist, just england and some parts of the US and..... well there must be other places but those are the ones I've heard of.
Where I'm from to say that you are racist (haven't met one yet) sounds almost as weird as saying you hate a particular hair/eye colour. ....(cookoo) lol

Politicians encourage it. Like when all the white Europeans are murdered in Rwanda or Rhodesia.
Racism is encouraged in the US with Affirmative Action perks for minorities and amnesty for illegal Mexicans (but not illegal Irishmen). A fractured society helps them stay elected.
The Chinese called in soldiers of another race to murder people in Tienanmen Square.

As long as there is power, there are people who think that others don't deserve it. So there will always be racism, no matter how hard anyone tries. But we can still all work together to make it as minimal as possible.
