If consumers would demand higher quality, in unison, we'd get it.

Unfortunately the expectations of the consumer in the cell phone market have already been established...and changing them won't be easy without a company doing it for us. And right now its not a company - but a geographic area (Korea and Japan) that have the best quality cell phones and contracts, so that the US cell phone market improves at a slower, delayed rate that roughly parallels the advanced Asian markets.

In the meantime, have you heard of Skype and WiMax? Successfully distributing these 2 technologies together = the end of cell phone carriers (and you can bet they're fighting for it not to happen)

Like Banks, it's all about $$$$. Latest consumer reports on cell phone co.'s is: Verizon #1 in customer satisfaction and largest retention of subscribers, T-mobile running a close second, and the worst in all categorizes is Sprint, with Cricket just a tad bit better. The irony is, Verizon is the most expensive and T-mobile is the least!!!

In the Cooperate world, Its not ripping you off, Its creating revenue. Weather it be on paper or cash, still revenue. They are not concerned that the Legal Aspect is flawed, with hidden agendas, fine contract rules etc. The USA started scams like this many years ago, people are just now catching on.

Well, i have sprint and i have never had a problem with them. I even get a corporate discount which is nice. Sometimes it is us that just does not understand the charges. If you get a nice rep., they will try their best to help you understand.

Because they are putting the effort into all the low-cost high-speed internet for phones, which is popular but not cost-effective.
