Yes you can. It's called a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After C-Section)

Everyone is missing the important issue here. It all depends on WHY you had the C-section in the first place. If you had the caesarean because there is something abnormal about your pelvis then there is no way you can ever have a vaginal birth. If however, you had a C-section for some other reason, like the way the baby was positioned or something else that had to do with the baby, it is possible that you could have a vaginal birth. It also depends on your doctor. Some just do not like to take the risk of trying a vaginal birth after a C-section.
Personally, after 4 C-sections I can't understand why on earth you would want to deliver a baby any other way. Every time I looked at the size of my babies heads I just thanked the Lord for my tiny pelvis, (it was crushed in a car accident).
I got to be awake and watch them being born, I got to nurse them right away and the only thing I missed was the pain of contractions (oh, and the episiotomy) so it was a wonderful experience.
Good luck honey with what ever you and your doctor decide to do.

You are getting it confused. "Natural child birth" is delivering a baby with absolutely NO drugs at all. You are talking about wanting to have a "Vaginal Delivery". Yes, it is possible to have a vaginal delivery after a c-section but it depends on how your incision was made for your c-section. You need to talk to your doctor. The major thing that could happen is your incision from you c-section could rip open during a vaginal delivery. That is the fear of anyone wanting to have a vaginal delivery after first having a c-section.

Yes! It's commonly called a "V-back" vaginal birth after cecarean. My ex-sis-in-law had two home births after 2 c-sections. The trick is finding a doctor who will do them anymore. Just DO NOT get induced! The risk for rupture is too high after a c-section.

Yes, you can! V-bac( vaginal delivery after c-section) is becoming more common these days. I plan to have my natural delivery now with this pregnancy. I had to have a c-section for my daughter. Unless something goes wrong during labor, my Doctor said it should not be a problem. Good luck!

Yes. It's called a VBAC or vaginal birth after Cesarean. If you want one you have to find a doctor that is willing and a hospital that will allow it. Some feel it's too much of a liability. Best of luck.

you can a have V- back means you can have a vaginal delievery after having a C- Section. It depends on what your doctor feels about your scar and if it could be really dangerous for you or not talk it over with your doctor.
