Glad you are looking for a spirulina flake. I have researched this BG algae as fish food for quite a while and have used many different brands, and not all are equal. I followed the links given earlier and they are to foods with low amounts of Spirulina, especially the Tetra which is one of the worst (but that does not suprise me with Dr. F&S).

As I have written in my article you want a food with Spirulina high on the contents.
OSI is good, so is ocean nutrition, but by far the best in terms of pure spirulina is Spirulina 20. Here is a link for this product at $8.99 (this also available on eBay)

Here is a little about spirulina from my article:
Spirulina is a blue-green plant plankton rich in raw protein and seven major vitamins: A1, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E. It naturally contains beta-carotene, color enhancing pigments, and whole range of minerals. In addition, it contains all essential fatty acids and eight amino acids required for complete nutrition. Spirulina is different from other algae and is similar to bacteria in many ways, occupying a niche between plants and bacteria. Spirulina is similar to cyanobacteria in structure (spiral shape, unlike true plant plankton), which can be toxic. Spirulina Blue- Green algae are recognized by the body (fish in particular) as a bacterium, causing an increase in antibodies, which in turn increases disease resistance.
Spirulina is also high in usable or digestible amino acids.

There are several sites on line where you can purchase it. Prices vary from $19.00 US to as low as $7.20 US for 1 pound. Here are a few links to look at, the last is by far the least expensive.
