I have a recurring dream that my teeth are all falling out. I become very upset in the dream and am enormously relieved when I wake up to find it's just a dream. What does it mean?

This is the MOST common dream for everyone!!!
The interpretation is for you to decide...we can give you some ideas...then you choose what you feel like is going on with you!
"teeth" are very important to our appearance...how others perceive us. it can represent a fear of getting older, or losing your sex appeal..feeling less attractive... fear of making a "fool" out of yourself!!!
Teeth also represent power. (we chew our food and crush it with our teeth!) so dreaming of your teeth falling out could suggest a feeling of powerlessness in your life...feelings of inferiority..or lack of self esteem...so what is going on in your life? To get a complete scope of your dream, I would suggest that you visit dreammoods.com (one of my favorite sights!)
From their site...you can type in the key word "teeth" and it will pull up some meaning for you...also over to the side of this..you will see the most common dreams..scroll down to "teeth dreams"
This will give you a much broader view to contemplate!!!
again..that site is:

I have the same problem with a different type of reoccurring dream, and I asked my psychologist about it and he said that normally it is because something has happened to make you think that something similar to the dream is going to happen. The best thing to do is to go out and read a book about dream interpretations, if you believe that it really has some significance. I do warn you however, that you might not find the answer you are looking for.

I have had this dream myself. Teeth in your dreams, can represent a number of things and one of the most common is appearance. Your teeth are a big part of human attraction. Think of smiling, to bare your teeth in this fashion is to display your most attractive "face". How do you feel about your appearance lately? If this does not seem accurate to your waking life, try this website: www.dreammoods.com. This is one I visit regularly.

Dreaming of teeth falling out often means you are losing control. In your life, you probably have some issues about being controlled by others and yet you can't do much about it. So, that symbolizes your helpless conscience and you vent it out in dream

I've had the same dream too. I read in a dream book that it means I feel like everything's up in the air and I have no control. I don't know how that translates into teeth falling out, but, there you have it...

to me, it seems that you are realising latley, that you are getting older. and you are worried that sometime soon you won't be able to do things you used to. If you had somethign recently happen where you tried to do somethign and couldn't do it as well as you used to. You may also feel that you are ashamed of your appearance because of something you do or maybe that you don't do, for instance maybe you feel guilty that you feel you don't excersise enough,

Don't know, but you may be grinding your teeth in your sleep because of it. Go to a dentist and find out if you are doing this, you might need a mouth piece.
