Hammer was one of the first to include a full entourage that toured with him. He inlcuded all of his close friends to put on spectacular shows. Hammer could not say no to his people and in time spent too much money not only on himself but on his amazing payroll...

Probably just like a lot of our celebrities - he kept spending, spending and spending until it was all gone. He should have hired a financial adviser when times were good for him and invested some $$.

Because everyone around him had thier hands out and he couldn't say no.. he also trusted that these people would take care of his finances properly and of course, they ripped him off. AND on top of that, he spent like there was no tomorrow.
