Is this proof enough the pro bowl is the worst all star game in sports?

I agree...
I always thought that the Pro Bowl was a bad idea. Can't have a contact-oriented game without contact.

Actually more a sign of how weak the quarterbacking is in the NFC.
Other than Drew Brees I can't think of an NFC quaterback who's stayed healthy and been productive. You could argue for Jeff Garcia, but the Tony Romo argument (7 games) would apply. Favre is still throwing more picks than TD's, Manning's 2nd half has been terrible, the NFC Central is a joke for QB's, Hasselbeck , McNabb, Johnson and others have been hurt.

I don't think it's the Pro Bowl game's fault, I mean who would YOU put in for the NFC?

That being said, Yes the game stinks lol. An intense MASSIVE contact sport in exhibition format is a joke. Nobody wants to get hurt. Hell I'm sure teams don't actually WANT their players to go. So how good could the game possibly be?

Tony Romo has just been "figured out", before he appeared to be great talent, and like said, how have NFC QBs fared this season? McNabb got hurt again, and Delholmme/Hasslebeck (only other usual options) have been hurt or just not playing up to their standards.

As for Rivers, it is essentially his rookie year and he is playing VERY well. Tom Brady has had an off year so people need to stop bitching about him not making it. The last thing we need is the league babing certain players (oh! peyton and tom just HAVE to go!)

and good burn (^above^) ---definitely not what I'd call handing the ball off all the time.

Talk to players and coaches, their vote count for 2/3 of the vote, all the votes of the fans count for only 1/3 of the vote.

Being a Chargers fan, I am happy Rivers is going, I know the last couple of weeks he's been bad, but he has the potenciall to be a great QB.

I don't agree with romo, but hey!, we don't make the rules!!!!, Nobody even watches that game anyway

well think bout it how is it the worst, baseball and basket ball only play half a season befor theres and i've seen many of times players that wouldn't come close to making it if they played it at the end.....and tell me who else would you put in there...and as for rivers, and i'm not a big fan of him but.......
QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int
90.5 265 436 60.8 3157 210.5 7.2 20 8
yeah that 436 atts really looks like he just hands the ball off

Agreed, neither Rivers nor Romo are what I would classify as the best in the league but the Pro Bowl is a fan based vote and with that you get ballot stuffing.
