I would say masculine, simple because it would go a long way at opening the eyes of the sheep that are led by the bigots.

nicely... i'm fortunate and blessed to have encountered a good many kinds for the time of my gay existence. i'm masculine as is my BF. in spite of the undeniable fact that... I knew a pair who have been the two very effeminate gay adult adult males and marvelous drag queens. They have been at the same time for years. I even have trouble-free female adult adult males who have been genuinely the sweetest adult adult males ever (masculine adult adult males could be too). it is complicated. And sure there are some masculine adult adult males who significant other with a female guy because of the fact they do no longer seem @ the femininity projected... they seem @ the guy interior.

Wouldn't matter if he's effeminate or masculine...lots of both types who are gay.
The only ones I have no respect for are those (Ricky Martin, etc.) who ARE gay, but don't admit it.

Boy George is effiminate. George Michael is homosexual/metrosexual. I don't see George M. as effeminate, but not really masculine. Just an attractive guy who is homosexual. I think that makes him more appealing. Hetero women know his status, but most hetero women don't find effeminate men attractive. Maintaining his 'neutrality' though being outwardly homosexual........adds to his mass appeal in my opinion, because though women know his preference, it's still cool to think he's sexy. If he were Boy Georgish........I don't think mainstream hetero women would be swooning as much.

I would want him to carry on however he wanted to. I'm not gay myself, but I believe that people should follow there bliss, and be themselves. I admired Freddie Mercury of the band "Queen" for that very reason. Even though I don't care to much for "Boy George" You still have to admire him for who he is.-Voodoo

I woudln't want a gay singer, but if it were my choice I would want them to be masculine, becuase i think guys were made to be masculine, not girly. Girly guys make me want to vomit.
