What does your orientation have to do with anything? If she knows your straight she's not going to hit on you. And if your best friend hasn't told you face to face, stop and ask her! She could be bi-curious or she may even be a straight lesbian. ASK HER! Then decided how to handle a situation.

if you don't know for sure then ask her. if she is then talk to her about and let her know how u feel about it. you have been friends with her for a long time and if your friendship means alot to you then it shouldn't really matter if she's bisexual or not.
