how do you use a 4.2qt pressure cooker?

i purchased a kitchen pro 4.2qt pressure cooker for my mom for xmas but it did not come with instructions and was wondering if anyone has one and can explain to me how to use it.

Pressure cookers are nice to use if you you know how. Food cooks so much faster and beef is so tender it will fall apart. Make sure the rubber gasket is inside the lid in the groove made around the inside edge. Put the lid on by lining it up with the pot and the lid lined up so that it will seal very tightly. Usually by turning the handle of the lid about 2" away from the handle of the pot feel it drop into place and then turn the lid til it lines up with the pot. Put the jiggler on the steam spout on the middle of the lid it just drops on and it allows a little steam to escape. I don't recommend cooking on high temps and always use it for food that you would normally boil. The only danger is taking the lid off too soon you have to let it cool down til all the steam is gone and you can check it by touching the jiggler. You can also set the pot under a cool running faucet to cool it faster. Always make sure the gasket is in good condition and the jiggler is on it while cooking and don't take it off until cool or you could be burned. The pressure cooker makes a lot of hissing and rattling noises while cooking but this is normal. Here is some more info

I would say a Slow Cooker. I have both but, much prefer the slow cooker.
